To resolution... I'm currently recording on 1650x1080, while final movies have 1280x720 (HD Ready)... Anyway, for now, my primary goal is to get some new stuff and try FULL HD resolution with as much quality as possible.

To compression -> I use uncompressed video from Vegas and then compress it through ProCoder3 to wmv with like 6000/kbps, result is I would say very good quality with around 60 MB/min. On the other side, imo there may be very good improvements to all aspect with using h264 codec, need to look at it too.

Yea, we are (although no more in racing)

Not for the LFS at all, but when I recorded with fraps, with AA in game, it gave around 10 FPS and never more... with AA off in game and on in nvidia control panel, I was able to do 15 (most probably even much more, but I'm recording on 0.5x speed, so I have turned on maximal FPS in game to 15 FPS) while the game was looking the same.

Oh, forgot to mention graphic card I had... It was Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT.

This could mean a lot for upcoming movies... looking forward to release!

There may be problems with some Nvidia cards (or at least they were there, when I was making my last movie). I'm talking about this:

When you have AA turned on in the game, Fraps is only recording at 10 FPS (no cracked version, original bought software). Solution is to turn off AA in game and turn it on in Graphic card control panel in windows...

Also, to what Lynce said here, My personal opinion is that if you start with making vids in overall, it's better to try to do a video clip, cause there's much more chance people will like it (if you use that music effect). If you decide to do video with sense of music, you'll need to get viewers by something else, as in video clip the main atmosphere component is good synchronizing.

There should be button somewhere... "Delete yourself from team" or something like that... you have to go to Racers database/team database, find your actual team and then you should see it...

Well... I wouldn't say that personally. For me it's better to have low speed, so I can see every detail of that shoot, while I'm recording it... and with better replay playback, it's almost perfect now, as you can manage every shoot as you want and then just record it perfectly.

Dunno, what version of FRAPS do you mind, but I captured last movie with FRAPS on resolution 1680x1050 and there was no problem. Also, FRAPS has better image quality just after capture imo.

Nice vid here Scott. I only think, that if you want to use that many effects, try to give them some style, so it'll fit together. Some of them looked cheap to me.

That's very interesting vid here... nice editing and very good choice of clips - it may sound weird, but my favourite is 1:57-2:00...

Its partly a Development team to improve driving, but mostly a Development process to get into the main team, to learn how the team operates, meet all the members, race with us and communicate with us on MSN/IRC. Thanks to this we can see your attitude and behaviour before you go into the main team.

Development members (Trial period)
- trial period is minimally 14 days (usually more)
- development member have to use red tag in front of his/her name (XFusion|Member)
- development member have to use „Development skins“ for his/her cars (similar to
XFusion skins, but with red stripes instead of green).
- development member will have access to private IRC channel, only limited access into
private forums and he won’t have admin passwords to any of team servers.
- development member has responsibility to get to know all members of the team.

EDIT: We will drive a two-hours race 03.01.08 (day/month/year). We will drive the GTR-cars on AS4 (Aston Historic). Two drivers at one team. Our tryouts will now got a chance to show how they preform invidual and as a team member. The goal with this test is to gain experience, to test our tryouts and to have fun!

Nice, calm promo. Well done Spangler ... If I have to find something wrong, I would say that some shoots could have quicker cutting. Sometimes in the end of clip, camera did some un-usuall movements.
